Mission

We are pioneers(7) at providing bicycle parking lots and rental services(2) in Bogotá(3), working for the community (1) benefit and helping to improve the city’s mobility problems(8) in a safe, ecological and economic way, seeking continuous improvement and financial stability (5). Specifying objectives based on a developed green technology (4) and the use of human resources wanting the welfare (6) of all our stakeholders (9).

 

It is really important that our mission includes the nine components, that’s why we try to mention all of them:

 

  • Customer: Bogota community. It is important to identify the customer because in this way we can have a customer orientation in order that we can identify their needs and satisfy them.

 

  • Product or service: Bicycle parking lot and rental services. As we identify the needs of our costumers it is important to have clear what products are we going to provide in order that we accomplish our objectives (including the satisfaction of our clients’ needs)

 

  • Market: Bogota. We included the market as it is important to establish and let all our shareholders know where are going to operate and compete.

 

  • Technology: Green technology. It is important for us to show that our company is characterized and affected by different types of technological resources that improve our final service. Also we use the word “green” as our mission must reveal that we are environmentally friendly.

 

  • Concern for survival profitability growth:  Continuous improvement, financial stability. We need credibility of our stakeholders and we can gain it by mentioning that we are committed to grow and improve in all the aspects of our company.

 

  • Philosophy: Welfare. We want the success and the accomplishment of all the objectives so that we can have an entire group of members satisfied and happy.

 

  • Self-concept: Pioneers. Our biggest resource for competitive advantage is that we are the pioneers of our service in our market; we consider it is important to state what makes us different from others.

 

  • Concern for public image: Community well-being, mobility problems. We look forward to solve some mobility problems and we mention it as it is important to reveal that our firm is socially responsible.

 

  • Concern for employees: Stakeholders. Not only employees but every single member that directly or indirectly affect the company are valuable for us and they are a vital part of “what really our business is”

 

Vision

To be recognized (8) as the Colombia’s (3) company leader in bicycle parking lots and rental services (2).

 

 

  • Customer:  We didn’t mention the firm’s customers in the vision because we want to emphasize in being the leaders of the market and being recognized because of that.

 

  • Product or service: bicycle parking lots and rental services.

 

  • Market: Colombia

 

  • Technology:  Is not in the vision because we are focusing what we want to become and achieve in the future, that’s why we didn’t mention.

 

  • Concern for survival profitability growth: We want to encourage our employees to the complete success of the company instead than just economic reasons.

 

  • Philosophy:  Our current philosophy is the Welfare of all our stakeholders, we want that it preserves in time

 

  • Self-concept:  We are the pioneers in bicycle parking lots and rental services business, at the future we will have direct competition and we want to position Bicity as the leader.

 

  • Concern for public image: RECOGNITION. To be recognized as the Colombia’s leader

 

  • Concern for employees: Currently we think that our employees are a vital part of our company, therefore we want that it preserves in time
