 The Strategic Position and Action Evaluation (Space) Matrix

 

This matrix takes into account tow internal dimensions (Financial position [FP] and competitive position [CP]) and two external dimension (stability position [SP] and industry position [IP]) that are the most important determinant factors of an organization's overall strategic position. It is divided in four-quadrant that indicates wheter aggresive, conservative, defensive, or competitive strategies are most appropriate for the organization.

AGGRESSIVE QUADRANT:We can take advantage of external opportunities, overcome internal weaknesses and avoid external threats. It should be feasible to make market penetration, market development, product development and diversification.
